Among many of the things that Asians hold close to them regarding Asian culture, is Asian religion. Because Asia is such a huge over bearing region, there are many Asian religions which are studied. The most predominant and practiced Asian religions are Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism, and Hinduism. Many of these Asian religions actually originated in Asia. Because Asian culture holds religion and faith so close to them, these Asian religions are practiced widely through out Asia. Asian culture practices many spiritually based religions for the purpose of seeking inner enlightenment.
In the practice of Buddhism, which there are many varieties of, but the main practice of Buddhism in the Asian culture is following the teachings of Buddha, for the purpose of seeking inner enlightenment. Buddha is said to be one of the most spiritually enlightened human beings to walk to planet. His knowledge and teachings influenced the Asian culture to practice meditation and his teachings and incorporate them into this popular Asian religion, known as Buddhism. The teachings in Buddhism tend to be very spiritual and philosophical. One maim mantra of the Buddhist Asian religion, is "Om Mani Padme Hum". This is interpreted into many beliefs based of generosity, patience, wisdom, ethics, renunciation, and diligence. Many believe that Buddha was a spiritually awakened individual, sent to earth the help others free themselves from suffering and rebirth. Asian culture took an extreme liking to this Asian religion and it became a wide spread practice and faith all across Asia, and many other surrounding countries.
Hinduism is another widely practiced Asian religion with in the Asian culture. This Asian religion of Hinduism originated in India, which is also an Asian country. Hinduism widely incorporates karma into this Asian religion, and the act of daily morality. Hinduism is said to have derived before Buddhism, making this one of the oldest most traditional Asian religions with in the Asian culture. Hinduism is based on three important things, mythology, philosophy, and theology make up most of this Asian religions practices and faith. In Hinduism, especially with in the Asian culture, Hindus believe that there are many gods, but they only choose to worship one. Hindus along with the Asian culture which practices this religion, generally believe that the soul lives on, even after the natural life ends.
Taoism is another practiced Asian religion with in the Asian culture. Just like Buddhism and Hinduism, Taoism is also a very philosophical based Asian religion. Taoisms three main practices which are Incorporated into this widely practiced Asian relation are humility, moderation, and compassion. Taoism originated in China early on in Asian culture.
As you can tell through this brief introductory, the three main Asian religions practiced with in the Asian culture are all based of philosophical teachings and practices. The similarities between these three main Asian religions are very much the same, but yet very, very different. These the main Asian religions are based on spirituality and philosophy, there for benefiting the practitioner in the goal of finding spiritual awaking.
